As the visionary founder of DHS Hospitality Academy, Dr. S.Sri Kumar has established a premier academy in Malaysia dedicated to excellence in hospitality training and career development. Under his leadership, DHS has forged strategic partnerships with industry leaders such as Genting Malaysia Berhad, BRAHIM’s Airline Catering, MAS AWANA, and renowned academic institutions including Asia e University and other public universities. These collaborations enable the academy to deliver cutting-edge short-term courses and direct job placements, ensuring graduates are industry-ready.

Champion of Athlete Empowerment
Recognizing the untapped potential of retired athletes, Dr. Sri Kumar pioneered transformative programs through partnerships with Yayasan Kebajikan Atlet Kebangsaan (YAKEB). These initiatives provide former national athletes and their families with specialized hospitality training, creating sustainable career pathways. A landmark achievement was the 2023 MoU with YAKEB and Genting Malaysia, launching a 7-month immersive program combining theoretical education at DHS with hands-on experience at Genting properties—complete with accommodations and stipends.

Global Expansion & Inclusivity
Dr. Sri Kumar has propelled DHS onto the international stage, with operations now spanning Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Bangkok. In 2025, DHS further solidified its commitment to inclusivity through partnerships with the Malaysian Paralympic Council and Yayasan Pemerkasaan Pendidikan & Kemahiran. Earlier efforts included sponsoring YAKEB diploma programs in Singapore (2020) and supporting the Malaysian Deaf Sports Association (MSDeaf).

Diversified Leadership
Beyond education, Dr. Sri Kumar oversees DSK Hospitality Services, managing 600 specialized programs for DHS Training & Consultancy and DSK Hospitality Services is a research & development company for new programs, and DSK Hospitality Management Services, is the investment arm driving his ventures in the hospitality sector.
